Press Release: Dapper Labs to offer free apps to the Culture & Heritage Sector using award-winning experience platform, Chaperone

Dapper Labs Ltd, the leading provider of mobile software platforms, has today announced its plans to launch a programme for cultural attractions to create their very own feature-rich app for free, using the award winning Chaperone Experience platform! 

The initiative, is open to all free-to-enter venues and attractions in the UK and Ireland. With many venues still struggling with the after-effects of the pandemic, this is part of the company’s overall plans to support the Museum and Heritage sector. 

Dapper Labs understands first-hand how implementing digitally assisted technologies, in venues, can help increase footfall and revenues. Therefore, providing a free app building and training initiative seemed like a no brainer to the creators behind Chaperone.  

As part of the programme, participants (i.e. free-to-enter venues and attractions) can expect to receive a free licence to the Chaperone platform, which grants them the tools to build a feature-rich app for their venue. Possibly the most exciting part of this initiative is the free support and teaching aspect. This comes via the newly launched Chaperone Academy, which aims to ensure that users will get the very best out of the Chaperone platform.  

Through regular webinar sessions, participants of the Academy, or rather, students, will be taught by industry experts on how to best use their content and apply industry best practices. Upon completion of the programme, graduates of the Chaperone Academy will be able to take away and implement their newly developed app on-site and see the improvements to footfall and traffic for themselves.

The initiative and places on the Chaperone Academy are available to free-to-enter venues in the UK and Ireland.
